Issue
The software in the Virtual Cockpit Unit Module (VCU) may cause the instrument panel display to intermittently go blank at vehicle startup or while driving.
Remedy: The VCU software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge.

Safety Concern
The driver's air bag inflator may explode during deployment, due to a manufacturing defect. An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the driver's air bag module, free of charge.
