GMC Sierra 1500 PRO
As one of North America’s best-selling and most sought-after pickups, the GMC Sierra 1500 has a long and storied history of power, performance, heavy-towing, and heavy-hauling. The 2025 model year saw the GMC Sierra 1500 take home a 5-Star Safety Rating from the NHTSA.
The base model PRO introduces buyers to a 2.7-liter TurboMax Inline-Four (4-cylinder) engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. This allows the base model PRO to achieve an impressive 310 horsepower, 430 pound-feet of torque, a maximum payload of 2,260 pounds, and a maximum towing capacity of 9,500 pounds.

GMC Sierra 1500 SLE & Elevation
Next up are the GMC Sierra 1500 SLE and Elevation trims. Both trims introduce the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 (8-cylinder) engine alongside a 10-speed automatic transmission.
This upgraded powertrain provides 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, allowing both the SLE and Elevation trims to increase towing capacity to 11,200 pounds. However, payload does drop to 2,080 pounds.

GMC Sierra 1500 SLT
With the SLT trim, Leachman Buick GMC customers have access to the full engine lineup for the GMC Sierra 1500. Standard on the GMC Sierra 1500 SLT is the same 5.3-liter Ecotec3 V8 engine and 10-speed automatic transmission available on the GMC Sierra 1500 SLE and Elevation.

The GMC Sierra 1500 SLT also introduces the 3-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel Inline-Six (I6) and the 6.2-liter Ecotec3 V8.

GMC Sierra AT4 and AT4X
Both the AT4 and AT4X are the off-road-focused trims for the GMC Sierra 1500. The AT4 trim can be configured with any of the three engine options available on the SLT trim. It comes with off-road features such as a 2-inch suspension lift, an off-road-optimized suspension, all-terrain tires, hill descent control, skid plates, and selectable driver modes.

GMC Denali and Denali Ultimate
The Denali provides Leachman Buick GMC customers with a choice of the three available engines. However, the Denali Ultimate only offers the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8. Ultimately, both trims are considered the top-tier, luxury-focused trims for the Sierra 1500.
